Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

It's hard to believe 2016 has already come to to an end.  2016 was the fastest year of my life, not for any particular reason, it just FLEW by.  This year was one full of changes and new journeys.  I went into business for myself.  I made mistakes and learned from them.  I was published.  I worked over 20 successful weddings.  All in all, it was a great amazing year.

2017 holds so much promise for me.  I look at it with anxiety and anticipation.  This will be my first full year of working for myself.  I have an (almost) full calendar of weddings.  I am getting to travel to different states to work weddings.  My husband and I will most likely be traveling to India at some point to bring our baby home.  This year has a lot in store, and I couldn't be more excited!

When I think about the things I want to improve in 2017, the list is lengthy.  Business wise, I want to work more efficiently.  I want to make posting to this blog a regular thing.  I want to feature weddings that I work, DIY ideas, party tips, and gift guides.  I want to be more invested with each client that I work with and I want to go above and beyond for each one.  There are so many things I want to do to make my business better.  Most importantly though, I want to thrive where I am am, take things one day at a time, and not rush this business.  In my personal life, I want to be more present each day.  I want to love people better and invest in people more.  I want to be more involved in my community.

2017 is going to be a good one!  Thank you for believing in this business.  I am so happy to work with amazing clients and friends.  Bring it on, 2017!
